CA Plus is different. Yes, we do know about accounting and nasty things like VAT, and some of us do actually own a suit, but we are different. As a registered charity we only work with organisations that have the interests of others at heart. Specifically, we'll work with any organisation that is or could be registered as a charity or a CIC.
We deliver a wide range of services in different ways. Each year we deliver direct services to over 450 organisations and many more are supported through our webinars and website resources. On a typical day much of our time is spent delivering our primary services of accounts, payroll and bookkeeping but in addition, we may set up new clients with QuickBooks online, deal with numerous calls for support and training and even update this website!
Bassetlaw CVS have used our services for many years. Some time ago we helped them to set up a computerised system for their accounts. This enables them to keep their records in good order - keeping track of various funds they operate. We have provided training to staff and volunteers and we also prepare and examine their annual accounts.
Trelya is a charity based in Penzance, so they are one of our remotely supported clients. Last year we helped them sort out some very complex and slightly unusual accounting records on QuickBooks online. They now have a system to help them keep track of funds and funder balances, as well as procducing timely and appropritate reports for the board and funders. We also prepare and examine the annual accounts and assist with some of the more complex booking like the VAT. Our CEO is also attending their Finance Board meetings for the year to help trustees learn more about their role.
Nottingham Community Artist Network recently came on board. They are a CIC and we are setting them up on QuickBooks online and training them in how to use it . We'll also be doing the annual accounts and corporation tax submisisons when due.
Bexley Mencap Recently we did a bit of one to one consultancy with this charity.
