Employment training workshops

On a regular basis we run a series of employment training workshops specifically designed to assist voluntary sector organisations who employ staff. Workshops have been chosen to impart, “Best Practice” in a number of areas of employment/ personnel development, relevant to the needs of voluntary sector groups and to up-date organisations with ever changing aspects of Employment Law.   • Employment Responsibilities for the New Employers

  • How to Handle Discipline and Grievance

    Content: Legislation changed in April 2009, concerning the minimum procedures - ACAS Code of Practice - that employers MUST follow during disciplinary or grievance meetings. Do you know these no longer apply to redundancy dismissals, the ending of fixed-term contracts and retirements?

ALL EMPLOYERS: i.e. Members of Management Committees, Board Members, Steering Committee, Centre Managers & Senior Staff.

Usual venue, Self Help Nottingham, 2nd Floor, Ormiston House, 32-36 Pelham Street, Nottingham

Times

Half day workshops, 10.00 am to 12.30 pm (registration 9.45 am)

Fees

Workshops fees will be: £30 per workshop per person (booking fees only refundable if we have received 7 days notice in advance of non-attendance, all bookings can be transferred).

Discount

2 or more workshops less 15%, (per person or per group)
