I joined CA Plus in May 2000 after taking a 2 year career break to raise my daughter and I am still enjoying my time here immensely. 

I first encountered the world of payroll in 1988 when I commenced employment as a payroll clerk with NAAFI and over the years was promoted to the role of payroll team leader. I have worked with both manual and computerized payroll systems, covering all pay frequencies and including a dual currency payroll.

I am a member of the CIPP (Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals) and currently am part of an HMRC consultation panel for small employers, which looks at how HMRC policies impact on the small employer and also provides a forum for small employers to express their views and concerns.  My main hobby is Salsa dancing but I seem to spend the majority of my spare time acting as a taxi driver for my daughter.
